Kaya Friis
"Running a healthy organization is like caring for a living organism. You have to listen to the entire system — not just the strongest or most visible parts. It must be inclusive and felt by everyone. To me, that is the foundation of an organization that is sustainable, both humanly and organizationally."

Employee Profile
Kaya is passionate about how organisations can create value that extends beyond the traditional bottom line. With an academic background in business and social entrepreneurship, she is particularly interested in the intersection of strategy, people, and society — and how organizations can evolve in a way that makes sense economically while contributing positively to the world they are part of.
Kaya is especially curious about the people and structures that shape organisational development. Her interests include sustainability, organizational behavior, and equality, and she thrives on diving into data and complex issues, identifying patterns, and translating them into insights that can be used in further strategic work. She is focused on what drives a problem and on analyzing it from various perspectives, with an eye for people, business, and society alike.
Kaya is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Management at Roskilde University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Service Management from Copenhagen Business School, with a minor in Tourism & Hospitality. During her BSc, she also spent a semester at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University in Canada.
