Berit Urup Hankelbjerg

Senior Consultant

“Courage and curiosity are crucial ingredients when organizations succeed in their strategy. Courage to be honest, stand up to the storm, prioritize and clarify the direction — and curiosity to listen to both employees, partners and not least the customer/citizen”

Consultant Profile

Berit Hankelbjerg is passionate about helping organizations create transparency in complex change processes. She insists that clarity and honesty are key to succeeding. It is with that approach that she translates strategy into actions that create lasting change.

She has a post-graduate degree in behavioral design, which gives her work a strong link from strategy to concrete actions and habits. She helps organizations change the way they work — not just in words and plans, but in practice, where it is felt in everyday life.

“I often hear myself saying to managers and collaborators:” in the absence of better — speak the truth

With over 20 years of experience navigating complex organizations, she creates clarity, direction and energy — even when change hurts. She is known for combining strategic acumen with strong facilitation and an ability to create a safe space in which to address the important. Berit does not beat around the bush, but helps managers and teams navigate and take the difficult conversations.

With a heavy knowdlegde in coaching and training leaders at all levels, Berit knows that when organizations succeed in change, it is essentially about creating meaning. When we, as humans, manage to connect visions and goals with daily practice, that is when direction, ownership, and energy, arises — perhaps even magic.

Berit is educated cand. Mag in Psychology and Educational Studies. She has a further education as a behavioral designer and has an abundance of certifications, including numerous personality tests, coaching, project and process management, etc. She has written a number of articles on behavioural design, learning culture in organisations, agility in HR and others.
