The Honeymoon period is long over in the municipal and regional political boards. Many difficult decisions have been made, new insights and knowledge gained, economic priorities have been debated - and disagreement and consensus have emerged along the way. Exactly as an elected democracy is supposed to be.

Many politicians experience tremendous work pressures, stress symptoms and challenges in balancing private and professional lives. In some places, the tone of political debate is too harsh, both internally among politicians and with citizens, especially on social media. Local and regional politicians typically have a job alongside their political duties, so time is a limited resource.

  • How do you ensure a good tone of debate and professional disagreement?
