“I enjoy working with the entire system surrounding a core task, ranging from healthcare assistants to regional councilors. At the same time, actively incorporating citizens' perspectives as a driving force for change and co-creating future solutions is crucial for successfully achieving significant societal changes.

Consultant Profile

For the past 15 years, Anne-Mette has worked as a consultant developing the public sector through innovation and co-creation. Anne-Mette is deeply committed to bridging the gap between the political, strategic, and operational levels through strategy processes where the citizen and the core task are placed at the center. Additionally, Anne-Mette is passionate about creating partnerships with public actors, private business and civil society in order to address the complex cross-cutting societal challenges such as climate transition, health equity, social sustainability and cohesive growth.

Anne-Mette's approach is characterized by recognizing the small changes within the big picture. What is the purpose of the change? What difference does it make for the citizen, the employee, the organization and society as a whole? Anne-Mette always works by thinking big and starting small when initiating experiments around major agendas, while also disrupting the political and structural framework. Political leadership is therefore close to Anne-Mette's heart, as societal changes also require shifts in the way our democracy and governance function.

Anne-Mette holds a master's degree in Public Administration and is trained as a Systemic Process Consultant and Certified Project Manager. She has been a driving force in the establishment of the National Co-Creation Movement, the Co-Creation Arena at 'Folkemødet' and the Politician Forum, among others, in collaboration with the researchers Professor Eva Sørensen and Professor Jacob Torfing.
